You will keep your finger on the pulse of property trends locally and internationally and take advantage of opportunities to optimize shareholder value. Reporting to the Board of Directors, your key responsibilities will include: strategy formulation and implementation; analysing trends and sourcing opportunities locally and in the region; driving shareholder value through: evaluating the existing portfolio performance; asset management; maintaining and improving asset quality and investor confidence; providing reports on returns on investment, pricing and value; and adhering to statutory deadlines, corporate governance and stock exchange requirements.
You will be required to hit the ground running, display high energy levels and possess an above average propensity for delivery and achievement. You will be required to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get stuck in as you demonstrate your ease at operating both strategically and operationally to achieve the Company’s long term vision in line with investors’ requirements.
A post graduate qualification in business management, accounting, investments, property and asset management or finance, with at least 10 years post qualification experience will be the minimum requirement. You will be expected to have significant experience in asset and real estate management, have a profound knowledge of the local and regional real estate environment and adept structuring and negotiating business deals. Exposure to private equity, banking or a listed environment will be an added advantage.
