Overview of role
You will have the responsibility of planning, developing, organising and directing the department engaged in the execution of projects related to water & wastewater assets, including the Capital Infrastructure Program.
This role is accountable for delivery of funded water and wastewater capital programmes, with a focus on design and delivery, budgeting, scheduling and execution to meet agreed specification and stakeholder expectations. The role is WUC’s primary contact with Ministerial Technical Services Department to align its strategy with WUC’s on National Water & Sanitation Projects.
Requirements, Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Water, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation or related field is required.
- A Post Graduate qualification is an added advantage.
- You will need 7 years’ experience in the execution of large infrastructure projects, including 5 years whilst at a Management level.
- Utilities industry experience is an added advantage.
