Overview of role

Reporting to the Camp General Manager, the Executive Chef is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen, always managing his/her team as per Okavango Wilderness Safaris’ minimum standards, and exceeding guest’s expectations of the food experience.

The Executive Chef position is bush based in the Okavango Delta

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Professional Qualification in culinary studies.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of which 2 years must have been gained at Executive Chef level.
  • Experience in bush based camps will be advantageous.
