Overview of role

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Investment & Product Development you will be responsible for the efficient running of BTO tourism projects which includes ensuring that projects have strong financial controls and oversight, are commercialised, run profitably and executed within time and budget. The role also requires the overseeing of the business processes of joint venture operations and that partnerships and ventures are adequately supported and managed.

Job description

  • Manage the implementation of the BTO Investment Strategy.
  • Manage all business agreements.
  • Maintain direct liaison with communities and other relevant stakeholders on tourism investment.
  • Profitability.
  • Cost Control.
  • Effective business processes and internal controls.
  • Manage subsidiaries exit strategy.

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and/or Tourism Management or related field is requisite.
  • You should have at least 5 years’ work experience in the hospitality industry at senior management level.
  • Be able to drive projects and have a track record of success.
